What is Ski Joring? Other than an excuse for mountain people to pack the bars at 11 am, its a sport that encompasses a rider on a fast horse with a tethered skier who races against the clock as he / she collects rings (like in a jousting competition) while zig zagging through gates and over jumps. Until you see it, you won’t believe how fast the team accelerates and races through the course.       Jan: The rider walked off on her own and was given some medical attention.
